Welcome to our Canal Corgis webpage! We are a passionate and responsible breeding program dedicated to producing healthy, happy, and well-socialized Pembroke Welsh Corgis. With years of experience and a deep love for the breed, our goal is to raise exceptional Corgis with excellent conformation and delightful personalities. We are located South of Columbus.
In our breeding program, we prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs above all else. All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health screenings to ensure that they are free from genetic disorders commonly associated with the breed. Our corgis live in a loving and stimulating environment, receiving the best care and attention.
As responsible breeders, we adhere to ethical breeding practices and follow all relevant guidelines set forth by reputable canine organizations. All our dogs are American Kennel Club registered, Continental Kennel Club. We carefully select suitable mates for our Corgis to maintain and enhance the breed’s positive traits while keeping diversity and genetic health in mind.
We put a lot of effort into keeping bloodlines healthy and raising the standards for breeds. We choose our parent dogs based on their health, temperament, and structure.

Sure, we are settled and in love with our sweet Daisy now, but it was not possible without the experience and absolute love of this breed that May & Jim share. Daisy is our 15-year-old son’s dream dog. Let’s be honest, we are all smitten with her. So how did we get here? First, we experienced a lot of disappointment as my husband decided to start looking for a puppy about a year prior and had spoken with so many breeders. Some of it was that my son really wanted a red corgi. The kindness and ease of informative discussion with Canal Corgis settled our stress immediately. We were ecstatic to receive the news on June 28, 2024, and due to location were able to get a special sneak peak of our bundle. The updates, vet appointment details, and weekly pictures, and let’s not forget puppy cam had us obsessed. It was such fun to watch her change and get the immediate news of things like eye opening. May & Jim are experienced and attentive even when exhausted! We were spoiled with a visit at 4 weeks to introduce my son who is in college. Wow, nothing short of an amazing and easy experience. May & Jim wish each of their corgis and their furever families the best. We are so grateful and looking forward to continuing the holidays with our new addition.
